Followin a tension soaked group stage, the 16 qualified teams for the Last 16 of the Africa Cup of Nations 2025 have been confirmed, with the full knockout stage pairings now set.
For Comoros, Zambia, Angola, Zimbabwe, Uganda, Botswana, Equatorial Guinea and Gabon, who failed to progress to the next stage their tournament journey has concluded, and they will now retuen to the home countries.
Among the nations progressing, powerhouses like Morocco, Egypt, Nigeria, Senegal, Algeria, and Ivory Coast all secured their passage as group winners. Elsewhere, Mali, South Africa, Tunisia, DR Congo, Burkina Faso, and Cameroon claimed their places as runners-up. Rounding out the qualifiers, Tanzania, Benin, Sudan, and Mozambique advanced as the best third-placed teams.
