A woman thought to have left her pet dog unattended for weeks has been banned from keeping any animals for 10 years.
Jade Elouise Williamson left Stormi, a Cane Corso, at a council property in Egerton Road, Slough, where the animal was found on 24 May 2024.
Stormi was found to weigh less than half her ideal body weight, following reports she had been left unattended for three weeks.
Williamson, 37, was told to pay costs of £1,531.70, a victim surcharge of £48 and fined £120 at Reading Magistrates’ Court last month.
She had been staying at an address a 10 minutes’ walk from Egerton Road but had never visited to check on the dog, Slough Borough Council said.
After Stormi was taken from the house, she was found to be severely malnourished and was taken in by the local authority.
She has since been rehomed and has made a full recovery.
