A woman thought to have left her pet dog unattended for weeks has been banned from keeping any animals for 10 years.

‎Jade Elouise Williamson left Stormi, a Cane Corso, at a council property in Egerton Road, Slough, where the animal was found on 24 May 2024.

‎Stormi was found to weigh less than half her ideal body weight, following reports she had been left unattended for three weeks.

‎Williamson, 37, was told to pay costs of £1,531.70, a victim surcharge of £48 and fined £120 at Reading Magistrates’ Court last month.

‎She had been staying at an address a 10 minutes’ walk from Egerton Road but had never visited to check on the dog, Slough Borough Council said.

‎After Stormi was taken from the house, she was found to be severely malnourished and was taken in by the local authority.

‎She has since been rehomed and has made a full recovery.
