ACKNOWLEDGING GOD
Hebrews 11:6 (NKJV)
_“But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him._
”Psalm 14:1 (NKJV)“_The fool has said in his heart, ‘There is no God.”_
Acknowledging God is the highest expression of wisdom, while denying Him is the height of foolishness. Scripture makes it clear that unbelief is not merely ignorance; it is a rejection of God’s authority and existence. When a person refuses to acknowledge God, they disconnect themselves from the very source of life, direction, and purpose. True wisdom begins with recognizing who God is and submitting to His sovereignty.
Faith goes beyond mental agreement that God exists. Hebrews 11:6 teaches that we must believe not only that He is, but that He rewards those who diligently seek Him. This means faith is active. It trusts His character, relies on His power, and responds to His Word with obedience. To acknowledge God properly is to live daily with an awareness of His presence and an expectation of His faithfulness.
Unbelief questions the Godhood of God. It limits His power in our thinking and weakens our trust in His promises. However, when we acknowledge Him in all our ways, we invite His guidance, provision, and direction into our lives. Wisdom is not simply knowing about God; it is walking in confident faith that He is who He says He is.
