Nollywood Actress Gbemi Anjola Has Passed Away.
According to reports, the rising actress passed away on Friday following a prolonged battle with ovarian cancer.
A colleague confirmed Anjola’s death, stating that the actress had traveled to Dubai for treatment.
“She was diagnosed with the ailment in 2021. She underwent chemotherapy in Dubai for about six months and returned cancer-free.
However, for the past month, she had been experiencing headaches and memory loss, prompting a hospital visit.
The medical team required a glass and medication costing approximately N500k. I assured her that we could arrange the funds discreetly.
Yesterday, she seemed fine, but around 7 PM, she complained of a headache again and was rushed to the hospital, where she unfortunately passed away.”
