When Orji Uzor Kalu the former governor of Abia state, now a senator was arreasted and harassed and brought to court, and subsequently jailed, I said to my friends, if this man stays in jail for one year, just one year. I will invest my entire media strength and intellectual property for free in support of this present government of Nigeria. We all know the end of that tale. The man is maurading around and holding an enviable post in the supposedly highly esteemed federal house of parliament. This is a man wno stole billions of Naira and left a whole stae impoverished and in abject penury. A man who who conned himself into a a position of authority on the trust of the people. He totally killed the state as he left and installed a wizard wi=orse than him an his witch mother who eventally finished the ailing state. He came in there barely making end meet and left one of the richest billionaires in Nigeria. A governor that was voted in on the expectation of the people that it will be a government of intergrity, has allowed the man roaming free.
Then come Apkabio of the Issokay, off the Mic notriety. I told my buddies, if this man goes to jail, I will publicly decare for this APC party and stick to it. That too, is a no brainer.

Now it is Okorochas turn. Another heartless con man. The sad truth about this particular character is that his people really really loved him. He came into power on the undiluted trust of the Imo people. You will hear phrases like, Negodi humility. As he stops to share roasted corn with the woman in the street. When he turned around to show the moster that he is, the entire state was heart broken. He simply ran riot, with no iota of rationality or acumen in him. To list his wickedness which included abrogating the local governments and pocketing their allocations, turning the entire state executive into his family affair and openly using state fund for absolutely unexplainably idiotic statues will really take unnecessary time. and investing time in mundanity. My friends had come to me. This time they had intended to bet with reasonable amount of money that the man will not go to jail. I looked at them and afterwards ignored them. My mama no born mugu. Once beaten twice shy. Twice beaten four times shy.

Our people say that when something stands something stands beside it. Now there is the case of Matuh who stole Four hundred million as against the above three who between them must have stolen Trillions of Naira. Now I am no supporter of Metuh. Like the word above clearly states, he is a loud mouth and a thief. But not at the capacity of the above thunderful three. Yet he was detained for yaers or jailed, I dont know which.

It is sad that Metuh the theif went to jail while the other three ae=re walking around free buttedly free.

Silective persecussion is what unfortunately is going on.

The above title tells us all about Okorocha and his escapade with EFCC.

Now the statue building Okorocha The Economic Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has reportedly released a former Governor of Imo State, Rochas Okorocha, after grilling him for two days.

Confirming Senator Okorocha’s release to DailyTrust, the former governor’s aide said his principal was released around 5:45 pm and he’s currently in his Maitama residence in Abuja.

When contacted, the spokesman of the anti-graft agency, Wilson Uwujaren said he would get back to our correspondent on the development.

Recall that the former Governor of Imo State was arrested by the commission on Tuesday at his Unity House office located at Garki, Abuja.

Okorocha, who governed Imo between 2011 and 2019, has been accused of embezzlement and misappropriation, an allegation he has refuted.

An aide to the former governor, Sam Onwuemeodo, had said since the commission is doing its job, Okorocha is ready to cooperate with the officials.

The former Governor, however, claimed that he was invited by the anti-graft agency.

“To us, the Commission is doing its job and should be given the needed cooperation. And Okorocha being a law-abiding citizen, would always cooperate with the Commission over the Matters in Courts.”

“EFCC is not a slaughterhouse, but a very responsible institution and should be seen as such,” Onwuemeodo said.

Onwuemeodo added that his principal is being investigated because of the new leadership at the commission.
