A financially drowning Britain, has found another sleazy method of making fast money. Here is a country, that has for centuries embarked on every kind of crooked ways of making money so as to sustain an image that is obviously a facade.
This is a country, from the time its history of making contact with other countries was written, while other lands were involved in trade that was supposed to be lucrative to both parties, Britain had come to any country it touches with greed, exploitative and hostile intentions, to rob, pillage, loot and destroy. No land or civilization made contact with Britain and has happy stories to tell thereafter.
Let me just start with the slave crime; for that is what it is and should be addressed and be referred to as. That they tried to funkify and justify it by branding it a trade is an insult to humanity. A trade happens when one party, which is the supplier of the commodity, is selling, that is receiving an agreed substance that is presumed of equal value to the commodiy while the other party who is the buyer is relinguishing the substance of estimated equal value to the commodity, then a trade is in progress. But when the commodity is stolen or taken by high handed method, then it is theifry and therefore a crime. Period.
Dont quote me. On 25th March, 2026, the United Nations General Assembly adopted a landmark resolution declaring the transatlantic slave trade and racialized chattel slavery as the “gravest crime against humanity”. Proposed by Ghana and heavily backed by African and Caribbean nations, the non-binding resolution passed overwhelmingly to advance international reparatory justice. It is on record that Britain, great or small was or is the greatest culprit in this crime.
Then they were forced to stop the heinous crime, they immediately embarked on another destructive greed driven adventure. Colonization. This time, civilizations, cultures, nations, peolples way of life and mode of production and existence was destroyed, disrupted and permanently terminated. This horror raged on for centuries.
Then, there was resistance. Like those that came from the Igbos – the Ekumeku 31 years wars, the Aro wars, the Aba womens wars, the Enugu coal miners riot and many other uprisings. They packed their bags and baggages and ran off.
Then, subsequently, another subtle and equally wicked system started. Is was termed Neo Colonization. This time, steal every resource of the people you have made contact with. Establsih a system that will make these people depended on Britain, then steal all their resources; natural, economic, government, traditional, agricultural, biological etc. If the people resist, upset their statusquo. Use their resistance against them. Control is the word.
It is said that no land or people ever made contact with the British and remained the same, or lived to have a healthy or happy tale to tell about it.
But alas, it is obvious that the fortunes of the once assumed great kingdom has started dwinddling. Almost every thing that is the symbol of its greatness has either disappeared or been sold; its former colonies are starting to stand and challenge her. Its great automobile industry is slowly disappearing, it football clubs, the pride of the nation, now bought over by foriegners. Now, embarassingly flaunting banners of these foreign lords. How are the mighty fallen.
All these became quite revealed when most of these countries changed their driving laws from the archaic right hand drive to the left, thereby abandoning British made vehicles. Then came the recent absolutely uninformed move to leave the greater Europe. Before they could figure out that it was a move that was self destructive and tantamount to shooting ones self in the foot, or better still, like imposing sanction on ones self. Before they could recover from their self delusion and realise their colossal mistake, it was too late. Their scambble for the Irish back door, was proven to be an effort in futility.
Now comes the new ponzy scheme. Britain has set up a range of soft banks through out its sorrounding islands which include Cayman, Virgin, Gibraltar and others. Their aim. Accept and hide solen money from thieves, fraudster, corrupt politician, soldiers, despots, government officials. Once the money has come from some crooked way, it is good for these British banks. It is said that between 2006 and 2015, the British raked in not less than 129 million dollars from these criminals.
India, Pakistan and Nigeria, their former colonies havee suffered severly from this latest British exploitation scheme. to that these were the countries a British prime minister some years past, had the audacity to refer to as most fantastically corrupt. well, one can surmise here that it takes a thief to a thief. Kindred spirits, That kind of thing. They have enacted some sort of law that only them understand and operate under that protect these dirty ones. Of course, they first grant them assylum. The implication of this, is very overt.
The most current of these is the case of Deziani Madueke, a former petrleum minister of Nigeria. A women that looted the country blind. The list of allegations levied against the woman is as long as the London bridge. To the shock of the world, Britain declared that the lady has no case to answer. Even when it the process of the case she had admitted to some of the crime she was accused of. well, obviously, she will live and die there in Britain, for anytime she dares set her feet in Nigeria, she will surely answer for crime, No limitation status covers this one.
Now, the world is sarting to know about this dirty money laundering set up of the British, who knows what next they are going to fish out of their bag of dirty tricks.
