woman died from multiple injuries and organ failure two weeks after being hit by a car, an inquest has heard.
Shelley Davies, 38, was seriously injured in the incident “involving an altercation and a motor vehicle” on 27 September 2025 in Caerau, Cardiff.
But she died on 18 October, with her provisional cause of death given as multiple organ failure, multi-resistant chest wound and blood infections and polytrauma including bowel ischemia, chest and leg injuries.
Kian Bateman, 18, from Ely, was charged with the murder of Ms Davies, from Caerau, and causing grievous bodily harm to another victim, David Bratcher.
