For some time now, America has been in the news as their election scheduled for this November continues galloping forward. After what was like a badly scripted comic show, where two bad comedians, one too lost and other with a badly damaged image, both too old and indicating every signs of incapabilties of handling the massive challenges which a country like the U S demands, desires and need in a manifesto interview, things seem to have taken quite a turn for the worse for the wobbly American image.
After the shambolic show of shame by the two of them, the president, Joe Biden seem to have temporarilly disappeared from the major news scene, making brief appearances like a chicked raises its head while drinking water. On the other, his rival Donald Trump, an ex president of the country who is the flag bearer of the Republican party seem never to get out of the news, for every kind of reasons. The latest is an assassination attempt on him by a young, white Republican with shady or one could say apt name of Crooks.
This particular act which resulted in the demise of two people, one of them being the would be assassin while the other is a fire man standing close to the president aspirant at the time of the gun shot which clipped Mr Trumps left ear and obvious hit the man, resulting in his death. The gun man was on the other hand instantly taken out by the present security personnel with a bullet to his head. Now come the hoolabaloo. Some Trump bashers, obviously of the Democratic party have insisted strongly that the whole show was stage managed as a badly executed publicicity stunt. For, according to them, Trumpts image was seriously going down hill, so he needed somehow to garner massive public sympathy. They insist that that the apathy or nonchalant actions and reactions of the security personnel present at that rally was grossly suspicious and therefore left a lot to be desired. Thereby the near fatality to him. His supporters on the other hand are starting to see him as some sort of Superman.
Whether, this episod in the man’s life is real or a show is left for us to see in the nearest future as the security departments of the land have swung into action to unravel what actually happened.
For me, if asked, I will opt that the attempt on Mr Trumps life is real. If it is a put up show, why chose an amature kid who does not seem to have a good shooting record, and who is likely to miss and hit the target being Trump himself whom he is supposed to miss. And this is what almost happened, for the shot actually drew blood from the ex president.
