Nigeria faces Ivory Coast
The fact that the match between the Super Eagles of Nigeria and the Bafa Bafana of South Africa generated too much tension cannot be over emphasized. That the performance of the officiating officers both from the center referee to the Video Assisted referees which will be subjected to further scrutiny did not help in anyways to douse this tension, instead had raised it to a level where in became life threatening and caused several Nigerians their lives is on record.
However, with all said and done, with its pains, tensions, drugeries and celeberations, the match has come and gone, and the victory of Nigeria over their opponents after the tension soaked match is now another point of record.
Our people say that a mad man farted and announced; That one don pass. So, that one don pass, and now it is for the Super Eagles to face the Elephants. A match that will be akin to a battle.
