IGP replaces Kyari with DCP Tunji Disu

The despicable tales of Abba Kyari, the super cop Abba Kyari is now slowly becoming stale news.

Our people say that it takes a theif to catch a thief. When you get too close to the devil, you start looking and smelling like one.

Abba Kyar who has been branded super cop it has been discovered while he has a glittering outer shell has a rotten stinking core.

When you neither the good nor the bad folks think or say good of you, then know it that your demis or at least down fall is eminent.

To tell the truth, Abba Kyari reminds one of the terrible cop murderer, Iyamu of the Lawrence Anini saga. He too was called super cop. And his down fall was thunderous and cataclysmic.

The Inspector General of Police, IGP Usman Baba, has appointed DCP Tunji Disu as the new Head of the Police Intelligence Response Team (IRT) to replace the very corrupt and bloody DCP Abba Kyari

Force Public Relations Officer (FPRO), CP Frank Mba, in a press statement, Monday in Abuja, said the posting of the officer was on the heels of the Police Management’s decision to fill the leadership gap within the IRT and refocus the unit for better service delivery.

The statement read in part, “The IGP has charged the new Head of the IRT to demonstrate his professional competence in his leadership of the Unit.

“He has also attended several professional courses both at home and abroad: Small Arms Smuggling Training in Botswana, Internet Fraud Training at the Cambridge University, UK, Strategic Leadership Command Course at the Police Staff College, Jos, Forensic Investigations and Criminal Intelligence Course at the University of Lagos, amongst others.

“He is a member of the International Association of Chiefs of Police, Nigeria Institute of Public Relations and Chattered Institute of Personnel management, amongst other professional bodies.”

The Spokesperson said the posting was with immediate effect.
