A lion was chasing a hen for food. The chicken knows very well that the chase will not end unless she dies. Sighting a tree with low hanging branches in the distance, the wiry chicken deviced a plan. She changed her direction and clucking noisily ran straight into the fox’s lair. The fox who has heard the noisy hen immediately gave chase. So now the scenario is that the fox is chasing the hen while the lion is chasing the fox. The chicken which was leading the parade to the tree with the low hanging branches arrived there and flew unto the branch.
Now the scenario has changed completely. The fox is chasing nothing, in fact it is running for his life with the lion hot in pursuit.
So, in the battle of life one has to take risks to survive. Then apply wisdom so as to be on top while your enemies are running around below.
Remember, in life, the race is not necessarily for the swiftest , nor the battle for the strongest. God bless us all as He grants us favourable times and chances even as we worship Him in Christ Jesus name.
