UEFA bevestigt: finales van Champions League en Europa League verplaatst | VoetbalPrimeur.be

a most entertaining round of sixteen of the UEFA Champions league qualifications that saw off mighty big boys like Juventus with Cristiano Ronaldo and Barcelonia with Messi, the eight qulifers for the quarter finals have emerged.

It is interesting to note that out of the eight three are from England whilee two are German teams. France, Spain and Portugal have the remaining three.

Qualifying teams

Chelsea which saw of Athletico Madrin with a cumulative of three goals to none from their opponents. Though, one must say that the second match left a lot to be desired when one puts the shenanegams of the referee under a VAR microscope.

Then there is Manchester City which is comfortably leading the Premier laegue, which literarily wiped the feild with their German opponents

Then there is Liverpool, the defending champiom of the laegue, but sort of coming second best this year.

Bayen Munchin is the defending champion of this highly coveted European cup, and beters choice as the likely winners again this year, as they are still parading the goal scoring machine Robert Lewandowski who is still banging in goal left right and center. He scored with a penalty kick as the send the Italian Atlanta packing on Wednesday.

Then there is the surprise Portuguese Porto. They shocked the european football enthusiasts when they contained and dismissed their country man and national captain, the super star Cristiano Ronaldo and his Italian tean juventus regretfully to Italia.

And of course there is the highly kinetic Paris st Germer, PSG. The french team that did not this year tolerate the nonesensense of Barcelonia and Messi, but heaped them with so much goals just to prove their superiority over them, and make a statement of warning to other teams in the competition that they are a team to be atken seriously. they are the team parading about the youngest players in the competion.

There is also Real Madrid, the super team which seam to be that which has carted the european cup more times that any other team presently in the race. However, they seem to be on the lowest rung of te beters ladder. The analysts insist that they are flaunting an aged team, with the like of Benzima and other in their thirties and the mighty Belgian Hazzard presently out of it all with injuries.

The last but not the least is the German Borushia Dortmond.

The truth is that with the emergence of the above eight it becomes obvious that no team should be under rated or undermined. Surprises are likely in the offing.
