* Let the world move on, but let it not forget that this innocent Nigerian school kid is still in the hands of her debased abductors.
*Let United Nations be aware of this fact even as they deliberate on every other issue, except this, one globally betrayed little girl.
*Let the African Union not forget, as they offer a high seat to Nigeria which for the reason of this should be truly treated as a pariah state.
*Let the Nigerian Government remember that they rescued other girls and abandoned Leah. Let the presidency, executive and parliament not go to sleep forgetting this prisoner of conscience.
*Let Nigerians even as we revolt against SARS, not forget her
*CAN will fight battles concerning the place of church leadership, but let Leah not be pushed yo the back page or swept under the carpet. For her sorrowful eyes will continue staring into their pontificating souls, and her unheard voice asking “Why?”
*Let the churches remember that no prayers will be heavier than that of this young Christ filled one we have left in the valley of shadows
*Let the Moslems in Nigeria know that whatever is their heaven will be closed to all of them as long as they keep quiet over the injustice metted out to this pure heart innocent heart.
*The case of Leah Sharibu will be the judgement of Nigeria and the world. She is a prisoner of our collective conscience. The shame of her pain, sorrow and suffering have become a burden upon this unstable nation and upon all people of the world who claim any kind of spirituality.
Not until we bring her out and do our penance, Nigeria will be in pain and the world will forever have a question to answer
The question that has been coming to me is What do we do?
The truth is that I am doing mine, by bringing this as much as i can to the attention of the world.
You, thinks of what you can do. What is your talent, profession or carrier? What is the power of your social circle, both electronic or physical> use it.
What is your financial or material ability, put it to use for this one singular cause.
What is your spiritual attainment, now put it to use. If it has been doemant, activate it to its full potential.
How powerful is you formal connections? Do you have relations with folks in high places, reach out to them.
This I believe at this point is not a case money can immediately address, but collective interest and zeal will go a very long way to addressing it.
Let any further suggestions be sent to [email protected]. I can easily co ordinate it from there to here in this newspaper.
May the Lord hear our prayers and let our cries come unto Him.
