Double Hell

While driving through the streets of Abuja, despite the apparent opulence as depicted by gigantic modern structures, one can see the obvious signs of decay and poverty. Well-dressed folks walking up to you and shamelessly begging for money just to eat. No electricity, yet you are forced to pay outrageously for it, high cost of virtually everything and the almost total absence of any thing the government is supposed to provide for the citizenry.
My wife shaking her head sadly, solemnly said, Honey, it will be terrible for any one after living in Nigeria to go to hell That statement went deep into me, because l see it tough in this arid and disenchanted situation, in the face of such abject lack, how can folks remain honest while struggling to make ends meet.
I saw the solution in the right mind set, in very strong Faith in God and in yourself. I saw it in the efficacy of prayers, the doggedness and survival instinct of the average Nigerian and l was encouraged that all is not lost. There is hope if we all selflessly pray, for the Lord said lf my people who are called by my name shall humble themselves and pray and seek my face and repent from their sins and call up on me, then l will hear them and forgive their sins and will heal their land ..
Folks Nigeria needs healing, so let us all continue in steadfast prayers for the land. May the Lord hear our prayers and let our cries unto Him, in Jesus name.
