Enyimba Economic City is a 9,464 hectares, greenfield city that is planned to connect the 9 states of the South-East and South-South Nigeria, with captive population of about 60 million into a global business hub.
The city will leverage upon existing/improved and new high grade Roads, Rail, Airports, Dedicated inland port connected to Seaport, Active Gas Pipeline Networks and other world class Municipal Infrastructure, like 540MW Gas Powered Station, 309,390m3, Water works, Communication and Smart City Technology backbone that will create efficient Administrative Structure for Business and Residency.
The city is driven by manufacturing/industry with ancillary drivers of logistics, Medical, Entertainment, Education, Commerce, Lifestyle Residency and Aviation.
It is a Free Trade Zone and a partnership of the private sector under a Special Purpose Vehicle (SPV), Enyimba Economic City Development Company Limited (EECD), the Host Communities, the State (Abia State Government) and the Federal Government of Nigeria.
The project, currently, has Financial, Advisory, and other supports of African Export-Import Bank, African Development Bank, and International Finance Corporation.
Enyimba Economic City as a greenfield city requires massive infrastructural construction in fence and out fence and we are currently holding discussions on possible EPC Strategic Partners on the project. Our core requirement, however, is that such partner must be able and in position to direct traffic of manufacturers and other activities to the city from country of origin and elsewhere.
